To the editor,

I would like to thank the angel in the black SUV that helped me on Route 63 under the Route 8 bridge on Monday, Oct. 3 around 9:15 a.m.

A little kitten was running around in the road, I stopped my white SUV to try and grab the kitten and save it and it jumped into my engine compartment. As many people just drove by me, seeing I was frantic this man stopped his car next to mine and stayed with me while waiting for police to come.

We were desperately trying to grab the kitten from the engine, and then it moved to inside my back wheel well. This man, clearly dressed in nice work clothes, got on the ground under my car, getting dirty, and was finally able to reach this little kitten. I was praying the whole time that we would not get struck by cars passing by. He agreed that he would rescue this poor kitten, which needs medical attention, and bring it home.

I am so thankful that he stopped to help me save this kitten from being killed. In this crazy world of hate and tragedy, please remember there are still good people that do good things.
