NAUGATUCK — Leaves will be collected on Naugatuck residents’ regular trash day, in 30-gallon paper bags, during the following weeks: Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 and Nov. 14 to Nov. 18.
Leaves are also accepted year-round at the Naugatuck Recycling Center, which is open Thursdays and Saturdays between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., also in 30-gallon paper bags only. Plastic bags will not be accepted.
Along with leaves, grass clippings, pine needles, hay, flowers and other soft yard waste material can be placed in the paper bags when they are brought to the Recycling Center or left for curbside collection. For more information, call 203-720-7071.
