NAUGATUCK — An 8-year-old girl police were looking for since Saturday was located in Arizona this morning.
Police said Mariah Snyder was found safe and unharmed. Police began investigating her disappearance Saturday after she was last seen at about 1 p.m. when she left her home with 33-year-old Megan Mizell, a family member, to visit Erica Mizell, 47, who is also related to Snyder, in Waterbury.
Megan Mizell and Erica Mizell have said in the recent past that they were going to take Snyder to Arizona where her birth mother resides, according to police.
