SEYMOUR — Marlene Scholz Ragaini, 77, a lifelong resident of Seymour and the beloved wife of 59 years to Pasquale Ragaini, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016 at Hewitt Health & Rehab Center, Shelton. She was born in Meriden on Oct.28, 1938, the daughter of the late William and Florence (McCarthy) Scholz.

Marlene was a devout communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. She was an avid homemaker, who enjoyed scrap booking, making picture albums and all sorts of crafting. Marlene will be sadly missed by her family and friends but will always remain in their hearts.

In addition to her beloved husband Pasquale, survivors include her loving daughter, Denise Pokrywka of Naugatuck; a caring son, Bill Ragaini of Seymour; six cherished grandchildren, Seth, Billy, Sara, Bennett, Anthony and Peter. Marlene also leaves her beloved in-laws and several loving nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Hewitt Health Center and Griffin Hospital for all of their support and compassion for not only Marlene, but for the entire family
