SEYMOUR — The Naugatuck Valley Health District will host a children’s vaccination clinic to help get district students up to date before the new school year begins.

The clinic is Aug. 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the district’s office at 98 Bank St. in Seymour. Appointments are required. The health district serves six towns, including Beacon Falls and Naugatuck.

A parent or guardian must accompany the child to the clinic. Depending on a child’s age and grade level, different vaccinations are required to enter school. Parents should consult with the nurse at their child’s school to determine the vaccines required. There is a charge of $20 per vaccine for children under 19. Parents should bring their child’s vaccine record.

For more information or to make an appointment, call the health district at 203-881-3255.
