Obituary: Ronald Richard Joseph Clement

PROSPECT — Mr. Ronald Richard Joseph Clement, 72, of Prospect passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 in the VITAS Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy (Kwochka) Clement.

Mr. Clement was born Aug. 21, 1943 in Waterbury, a son to the late Leo and Leonette (Normandin) Clement. He was retired from First National Grocery Stores where had worked as a grocery manager for many years and was a communicant of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Prospect where he served as an usher. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Clement is survived by two daughters, Leonette Lovejoy of Wolcott and Ronna Clement-Reddington of Middlebury; three sons, Paul Clement of Naugatuck, Ronald Clement, Jr. and Dean Clement of Prospect; sister, Joan Normandin of Torrington; three brothers, Robert Clement of Goshen, Paul Clement of Wolcott and Raymond Clement of Middlebury, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect is in charge of arrangements.
