BEACON FALLS — The Beacon Falls Library recently received a grant to provide programs geared toward older adults.

The $545 grant was awarded from the Connecticut Community Foundation’s Pathways to Older Adults program. The grant will be used to offer three upcoming programs. The first, “25 Ways to Train Your Brain for Enhanced Memory and Top Performance,” is Aug. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 10 Maple. Programs are also scheduled for September and October.

“This series is a vital addition to our programming lineup. Our older adult population in Beacon Falls is increasing. The library is holding the series to help older adults stay healthy, informed and engaged,” Library Director Sue Dowdell said in a press release.
