NAUGATUCK — A new take-out restaurant may soon be coming to Church Street.

The Zoning Commission approved a change of use permit for a storefront at 174 Church St. on March 16.

The space had previously been used as an office and meeting space for the Naugatuck branch of the Knights of Columbus. The application for a change of use, which was filed by Lydia LeBlanc, calls for converting the space into a take-out restaurant called The Paladin Cafe. LeBlanc owns Terri’s Flower Shop at 175 Church St. According to the application, the restaurant will serve coffee, tea, and prepackaged food.
