NAUGATUCK — Timothy J. Crelan, 51, of Naugatuck, passed away unexpectedly, on Jan. 2, 2016. He was born March 4, 1964 in Bridgeport to John J. Crelan and the late Jennie M. Crelan.

He attended Masuk High School in Monroe and later attended the Connecticut School of Electronics graduating with an associate’s degree. For the past 17 years, Tim worked at OEM Controls as a production engineering technician and a product support technician. Tim enjoyed playing on his Xbox, watching scary movies and spending time with his close friends.

Timmy is survived by his father John “Jack” now residing in Stafford, Va.; a brother, Barry and his wife Anita of Fredericksburg, Va.; two sisters, Laurie of Oxford and Stacy of Shelton; two nieces, Amber of Richmond, Va., and Dana of Fredericksburg, Va.; a special best friend, Joe Donofrio of Ansonia, who was there for him for 40 years through the good and bad times. Also his friends, Louis and Ellen Schwartz of Ansonia.

Calling hours for Timothy were held on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Burial was to be held at the convenience of the family.
