MURRELLS INLET, S.C. — Rosemary Wargo Trotta Bertotti, 71, the wife of Walter M. Bertotti and the widow of John F. Trotta, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, S.C.

Rosemary was born on June 1, 1944 in Waterbury, Conn., the daughter of the late Alice (Wolfe) and Joseph Wargo. She was a life-long resident of Naugatuck, recently retired to South Carolina. She attended St. Francis Elementary School and graduated from Naugatuck High School with the Class of 1962, and from St. Mary’s Hospital School of X-Ray, and went on to have a long and satisfying career in the field of mammography.

In addition to her husband, Rosemary leaves behind two daughters, Ann-Marie Trotta of Southington, and Laura Trotta (Thomas) Petronchak of Seymour; a brother, Joseph (Nancy) Wargo of Inman, S.C., and a sister, Sandra (Wargo) Gustad of Naugatuck; three cherished grandchildren, Dominic, Michael and Alexandra Petronchak; several nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. Rosemary also leaves her “honorary daughter,” Eileen (Borbas) Carlson of Naugatuck.

Calling hours will be Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, Conn.
