To the editor,

I am honored and humbled to have received such sincere and enthusiastic support for my campaign to be mayor of Prospect. My heartfelt gratitude goes to the candidates and innumerable volunteers for the Democratic Row A Team. Though we did not prevail, I am extremely proud of our efforts. Without question, we have made an impact on the future of Prospect. We offered a strong choice of a full slate of capable, qualified, committed candidates for Prospect’s voters. We ran a solid, honest and energetic campaign with integrity, and offered clear vision for Prospect’s future. It is evident that our message was heard as the Republicans adopted our themes as their own and stepped up their game.

Those of us who have served in our roles on Prospect’s boards and commissions as the minority representatives have served with distinction. Those of the Row A team who have now been elected to serve for the next two years will do nothing less. They will all remain committed to improving life in Prospect for all citizens and will remain focused on the goals to embrace technology, plan for and promote responsible and comprehensive economic development, address the housing needs of seniors and attract young families. They will continue to make a difference and to be proactive in directing change for positive outcomes.

Thank you, to all of you who have supported our efforts with your financial contributions, time, talents, energy and votes. I am so very proud to have led this high caliber “A- team” and shared this exciting journey with you all.
