NAUGATUCK — The Whittemore Library is featuring the artwork of Angelo Perrone and his son, John Basil Perrone, this month.

Angelo Perrone has been painting in mixed media for over 50 years, a press release said. His most recent collection of work, called Impressions of Nature, highlights the use of leaves, grass, and natural elements rather than the expected brush.

John Basil Perrone’s work is abstract in its style, the release said, reflecting the shapes and colors encountered in daily life. He works in a number of mediums, including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pen and ink, and spray paints.

The exhibit can be viewed at the library, 243 Church St., during regular hours. For more information, call (203) 729-4591.
