WATERBURY — Mrs. Clara P. LaFrance, the widow of Roger A. LaFrance and formerly of Glenrock Road in Waterbury, died peacefully Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at Brookdale Buckingham Estates in Glastonbury.

Mrs. LaFrance was born in Harwinton, the daughter of the late Francisco and Guiseppina M. (Bossone) Pagano. She was educated in Torrington schools and was a retired employee of the footwear division of Uniroyal, Inc., where she had worked for many years. She was also employed at Litchfield Woods Center, Torrington Recreation Department.

Mrs. LaFrance leaves two sons, Roger Richard LaFrance and his wife, Joan G. LaFrance, of Colchester, Dr. Norman David LaFrance and his wife, Dr. Mary Catherine LaFrance, of Montreal, Canada; one sister, Mrs. Viola Mazzaferro of Torrington; three granddaughters, one grandson and five great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Aug. 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect. Entombment will be in Queen of Peace Mausoleum, Waterbury. Calling hours are Friday, Aug. 7, 2015 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck.
