SOUTHBURY — Mrs. Ramona (Juraska) Dobson, 48, of Southbury, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Jonathan T. Dobson.
Ramona was born in Waterbury on Jan. 23, 1967, a daughter of Marylou (Rinchiuso) Sullivan-Fidanza of Wolcott and step-daughter of Julio Fidanza of Wolcott. She worked as a C.N.A. at the River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury.
In addition to her husband, Ramona is survived by a daughter, Katherine Cuccuru of Naugatuck; two sons, Michael Roy Laudate of Oxford and Cody Ryan Dufour of Prospect; a sister, Carla Bosse of Jupiter, Fla.; a brother, Anthony Sampieri of Charleston, S.C.; two granddaughters, Kaylee Rae Palangio and Karina Mendilo; her Godmother, Carol McNamara of Lake Worth, Fla., many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services for Ramona will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m.
