Miss Sonja Henst and Mr. Joshua McClelland were married May 15, 2015 in the Golden Lamb Buttesy in Brooklyn, by Pastor Greg Manalli. A reception followed at the Golden Lamb Buttesy in Brooklyn.
The bride is the daughter of Rene and Birgitta Henst of Cheshire.
The bridegroom is the son of Tim and Vicki McClelland of Naugatuck and the grandson of the late John and Louise McClelland of Brazil and William and Sandra Dean of Bethany.
The bride had her mother as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Erica Henst, Heidi Andrejczyk and Tiffany Gauthier.
The best men were Jason McClelland and Justin McClelland. Ushers were Bryon Kane and Tom Kuelhewind.
Mrs. McClelland graduated from Cheshire High School in Cheshire. She is an educational assistant for Ben Haven School in Wallingford.
Mr. McClelland graduated from Westwoods Christian Academy in Hamden and from Eastern University in St. Davids, Pa., with a degree in communications. He is a police officer for Cheshire.
