SEYMOUR — Blanche Mary Lamorski Zabrocky, 93, of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Zabrocky, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Blanche was born in Northhampton, Mass., on Aug. 3, 1922, daughter of the late Wladyslaw and Lucyia Standera Lamorski. She was a devout communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd of Seymour. She was formerly employed by the Isaacson Department Store of Seymour and JC Penny Company in Milford.

She loved country music, the New York Yankees and New England Patriots, going out to dinner anytime anywhere especially for a good steak, having monthly brunch with her retired JC Penny co-workers, her dog Buddy, reading, and crocheting for family and friends, my sister’s place and blankets for various dog shelters.

She’ll be sadly missed by her family and friends. Her loving family includes her beloved son, Stanley Joseph Zabrocky, Jr. and his wife, Frances, of North Haven; her two caring daughters, Linda A. Glovinski and her husband, Kenneth, of Naugatuck, and Bonnie M. Zabrocky of Seymour; and her loving sister, Irene Grusz of Seymour; and her three cherished grandchildren, Jillian Zabrocky and Susan Long and her husband, Patrick, and Joseph Glovinski, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter Lamorski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 15 at 10 a.m. directly at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St., Seymour (across from Klarides Village). Interment is in St. Augustine’s Cemetery, Seymour.

Memorial gifts in Blanche’s memory may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd Improvement Fund through the Funeral Home.
