NAUGATUCK — Mr. Michael E. Santarsiere, 67 of Naugatuck, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, April 10, 2015 at his home.
Michael was born in Naugatuck, Dec. 12, 1947, a son of the late Michael and Mary (Larrow) Santatsiere and served in the U.S. Merchant Marine for a number of years, traveling throughout the world. He later had been employed in Montana, California and Belize, in Central America. Following his retirement, he returned to Naugatuck four years ago.
He is survived by his sister, Jean Santarsiere, of Waterbury and a brother, Gary Santarsiere of Naugatuck, and three nephews, Steven Keyser, Michael Santarsiere and Erik Snatarsiere.
Following Michaels’ wishes, all services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting the family with the arrangements.
