NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Jeanne (Strawn) MacLaury, 71, passed away peacefully on February 11, after a strong fight against cancer, the time came for her to make her most glorious journey to join the angels in heaven.
She will mostly be missed by her husband of 49 years, David MacLaury and her children, Theresa Chandler, Debbie Bousquet and her husband, Jerry, Dave MacLaury, Jr. and Julie Miller and her husband, J.R. She will also be missed by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will definitely be remembered for her beautiful crochet work, her love of Stephen King novels, wrestling, angels, Patrick Swayze, the best tuna macaroni salad ever, and of course Cinderella — nobody loved Cinderella like she did.
The family asks that you keep her memory alive by thinking of her often, share a memory of her from time to time, do something nice everyday and pray for her in heaven.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral Services will be private.
