NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Historical Society and Museum has a new exhibit just in time for the holidays.

The exhibit, “The Gifts of Childhood Holidays,” displays the toys, games, books and dolls that children have been receiving as holiday gifts for over a century. The collection belongs to historical society board member Ron Gagliardi, and it will eventually become the core collection of The Childhood’s P.A.T.H. (Playtime And Toy History) Museum.

The exhibit debuts on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the museum, 195 Water St. The exhibit will remain on display through most of January. The museum is open Wednesday through Friday from 12 to 4 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. Admission will be free for this exhibit. Donations are welcome.
