The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

PHYLLIS VAN WORMER, 67, of 393 Heritage Village, Southbury, was charged Aug. 25 with issuing a bad check and sixth degree larceny.

Police reported on Aug. 25 at approximately 1:19 p.m. Van Wormer turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a bad check complaint made on Feb. 21, 2012 at Ocean State Job Lot. Police reported Van Wormer wrote a check in the amount of $93.40 with insufficient funds to cover the check. Van Wormer was given a court date of Sept. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

JOSE QUEIROS, 45, of 130 Heritage Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 26 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Aug. 26 at approximately 6:40 a.m. Queiros turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Queiros was given a court date of Aug. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $25,000 bond.

PEDRO DECLET, 51, of 118 Village Lane, Branford, was charged Aug. 28 with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Aug. 28 at approximately 10:05 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Declet and another man removed a security device from a HP computer, police reported. They attempted to steal the computer worth $389.74, but were approached by loss prevention employees, police reported. Both males ran from the store. The police K-9 was used to locate Declet, who was hiding in brush near the store’s property, police reported. Declet was given a court date of Sept. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 non-surety bond.

DINA QUADRATO, 46, of 15 Middlebury Road, Watertown, was charged Aug. 29 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on Aug. 29 Quadrato was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Quadrato was given a court date of Sept. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $90 cash bond.

ROBERT YARRINGTON, 28, of 64 Nancy Ann Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 30 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 30 at approximately 2:23 a.m. officers responded to 64 Nancy Lane for domestic disturbance between roommates. During an argument, police reported, slapped his roommate, who then punched Yarrington. A family member separated the two. Yarrington was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

BRIAN LAVERTUE, 30, of 64 Nancy Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 30 with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and two counts of second-degree failure to appear

Police reported on Aug. 30 at approximately 2:23 a.m. officers responded to 64 Nancy Lane for domestic disturbance between roommates. During an argument, police reported his roommate slapped Lavertue, who then punched his roommate. A family member separated the two. Lavertue was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond. Lavertue was also arrested on two active warrants. Lavertue was given a court date of Sept. 10 to appear at Bantam Superior Court and released on a court-set surety bond.

RAMON PADRO, 33, of 509 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 30 with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on Aug. 30 at approximately 4:02 a.m. officers responded to 509 North Spring St. Apt. B for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Padro punched the victim. When she attempted to call the police for assistance, police reported, he hung the phone up. Padro was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

GENE SOMMARIVA, 48, of 15 Nettleton Court, Shelton, was charged Aug. 30 with second-degree unlawful restraint and breach of peace.

Police reported on Aug. 30 at approximately 8:36 p.m. officers responded to the area of 648 Rubber Ave. for a domestic disturbance in the street. During an argument between boyfriend and girlfriend, police reported, the victim fell to the ground. According to a witness, Sommariva attempted to drag the victim to his vehicle. Sommariva was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER TERRY, 23, of 507 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 30 with disorderly conduct and third-degree strangulation.

Police reported on Aug. 30 at approximately 11:46 p.m. officers responded to 507 Spring St. Apt. C for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Terry was punched by his girlfriend and pushed her by her throat. Terry was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

SABRINA KAMINSKA, 18, of 507 North Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 30 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 30 at approximately 11:46 p.m. officers responded to 507 Spring St. Apt. C for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Kaminska punched her boyfriend, who pushed her by her throat. Kaminska was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ANGELO LOPEZ, 31, of 91 Cold Spring Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 31 with risk of injury to child, fourth-degree sexual assault, first-degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

TAMMY WILCOX, 34, of 47 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 31 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Aug. 31 at approximately 11:36 a.m. Wilcox was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Wilcox was given a court date of Sept. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $50 cash bond.
