Letter: Driver thanks good Samaritans

To the editor,

Early Wednesday afternoon July 30 my car broke down at the traffic light on Meadow Street next to Dunkin Donuts. All my efforts to restart my car were in vain and traffic was backing up behind me.

Along came a very nice young man who tried to help, thought I might be out of gas and went to retrieve some. But before he left pushed me around the corner and to the curb at John’s Pizza. While I kept trying to start the car another very nice young man came along and tried to help, but without success. He pushed me into the parking lot to get me off the street and gave me a ride home.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get these two young men’s names. They both were very nice, concerned, and helpful. But I didn’t get a chance to thank them adequately. Thank you.
