NAUGATUCK — Trash and recycling collection will be pushed back next week due to Labor Day.

Curbside collection will not be done Monday. Collections will be one day later than normal, Tuesday through Saturday. Residents are asked to have their carts curbside by midnight the night before their collection, 3 feet apart from each other and unobstructed by cars.

The public works office will be also closed for the holiday. The recycling center will be open its usual hours on Thursday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Copes Waste Solutions is now collecting curbside materials for the borough. For specific questions or problems with collection, call Copes at 1-877-274-1444. For general questions, contact public works at (203) 720-7071 or publicworks@naugatuck-ct.gov.
