NAUGATUCK — Geron T. Buelterman, 57, loving husband of Kim (Wojtczak) Buelterman, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at his home unexpectedly.

Geron was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on Dec. 16, 1956, son of the late Kenneth and Mae (Armstrong) Buelterman. He was educated and spent his youth in Ohio, before moving to Cadillac, Michigan in 1971. He graduated from Millersburg Military Academy in Kentucky, and then moved to Connecticut in 1976. He was an excellent mechanic, and his true passion was rebuilding cars and trucks.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Saundra Beltz and her husband Rodney of Newport News, Va.; his grandchildren, Riley and Bryson; his sister, Ayannah Buelterman of Cadillac, Mich.; his aunt, Mary Marine; his niece and several cousins, all of Michigan. He also leaves his in-laws, Joseph Wojtczak, Jr. and his wife Thelma of Naugatuck; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph and Kevin Wojtczak and their families.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
