The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

WILLIAM BOLES, 25, of 19 Collins St., Waterbury, was charged July 7 with breach of peace, second-degree harassment and threatening.

Police reported on July 7 at 3:30 p.m. Boles was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a threatening phone call complaint made on July 6, 2014. Police reported Boles contacted the victim, who is a former girlfriend, by phone and threatened to harm her. Boles was given a court date of July 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 court-set surety bond.

NICHOLAS ANDREWS, 33, of 68 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged July 7 with second-degree assault, second-degree unlawful restraint, first-degree reckless endangerment, interfering with an emergency call, breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on July 7 officers responded to General Pulaski Way for a disturbance between a male and female, who are acquaintances. During an argument, police reported, Andrews hit the victim over the head with a bottle causing lacerations to her head and hands. When the victim attempted to call 911, police reported, Andrews prevented her from doing it by grabbing at her phone. When the officers arrived Andrews ran from the officers but was found in the woods, police reported. Andrews was given a court date of July 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000.

STEVEN KNAPP, 27, of 177 Cliff St., Naugatuck, was charged July 7 with breach of peace, second-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on July 7 at approximately 6:42 p.m. officers responded to 35 George St. for an unwanted party. Police reported Knapp, who was intoxicated, walked into the victim’s home through an unlocked door. Knapp was led to a porch by the homeowner until the officers arrived. Knapp was given a court date of July 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

KELLY MURPHY, 29, of 17 Townsend St., Middlebury, was charged July 11 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 11 Murphy was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Murphy was given a court date of July 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 cash bond.

MICHAEL SEPELAK, 60, of 149 Inwood Drive, Naugatuck, was charged July 12 with breach of peace.

Police reported on July 12 at approximately 8:57 a.m. officers responded to 149 Inwood Drive for a domestic disturbance between family members. During an argument, police reported, Sepelak grabbed the victim by her arm and pushed her out of the house. Sepelak was given a court date of July 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

JOSEPH CUSACK, 33, of 158 Bluebird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged July 12 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 12 at approximately 4:32 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Cusack was operating under the influence of alcohol. Cusack was given a court date of July 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

NICHOLAS ANDREWS, 33, of 68 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged July 12 with breach of peace and second-degree unlawful restraint.

Police reported on July 12 at approximately 9:07 p.m. officers responded to 68 Anderson St. Apt. 1 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Andrews was locked out of his apartment. Andrews broke a window to gain access to the apartment, police reported. When the victim attempted to leave the apartment, Andrews pulled her back into the apartment, police reported. Andrews was given a court date of July 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

JONATHAN SMITH, 29, of 117 Woodbridge Lane, Thomaston, was charged July 13 with violation of a protective order.

Police reported on July 13 at approximately 3:56 p.m. officers responded to 47 Locust St. 1st floor for a violation of a protective order. Smith was in the residence, which was determined to be a violation of the order, police reported. Smith was given a court date of July 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

RUBEN BERGER, 22, of 200 Yale St., Waterbury, was charged July 13 with third-degree assault, second-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 13 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Berger was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported Jan. 21, 2014 between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Berger applied a choke hold to the victim causing injury to her neck and lower jaw. Berger was given a court date of July 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $25,000 cash bond.
