Naugatuck to collect Christmas trees

NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck public works will collect Christmas trees curbside Jan. 6 to Jan. 10.

Trees will be collected on resident’s regular trash day. Residents should remove all decorations, tinsel and plastic. The trees will be recycled and used as mulch in town. Trees are also accepted year round at the recycling center on Rubber Avenue. The center is open Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call the public works office at (203) 720-7071.
