NAUGATUCK — The United Way of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls will kickoff its 2013 campaign Thursday morning.

The 2013 Campaign Kickoff Breakfast will be held at The Crystal Room, 98 School St., from 8 to 9:30 a.m.

The United Way set its fundraising goal for this coming year at $440,000, according to Campaign Chair Kathleen McPadden.

Last year’s campaign raised $440,000, exceeding the goal by $15,000.

“I realize there are so many ‘asks’ that we all receive, yet I implore you to rally behind our campaign and help us reach our goal.  I am so proud to live and work in such a generous, caring community and to be a part of the United Way of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls Campaign, which continues to bring together people from across our community by helping local programs meet local needs right here every day,” McPadden said in a statement. “You can be sure when you invest in the United Way of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls that you are improving the lives of everyone who lives and works in our community.”
