REGION 16 — The Region 16 school district is accepting nominations for the 2014 Teacher of the Year.
Region 16 parents, students, staff and community members can submit nominations. The nominee must be a tenured teacher who has served for at least three years in Region 16, which oversees schools in Beacon Falls and Prospect, and has not received the award in the past five years. The nomination forms and a list of the established guidelines for the selection process are available at each Region 16 school or online at www.region16ct.org.
Completed nomination forms must be returned by 3 p.m. on May 2. Nominations can be mailed to Superintendent of Schools, 207 New Haven Road, Prospect, CT 06712 or emailed to Lorrie Moraniec at lmoraniec@region16ct.org.
