BEACON FALLS — The Friends of Beacon Falls Library is sponsoring the third annual Decorate-a-Duck contest.

The small rubber duck kit, which is included in the $10 registration fee, can be decorated any way participants see fit. All ducks must be returned to the library and will be displayed throughout April when voting will take place. The community can participate in the final judging of the top three ducks in three categories at the Friends’ booth at the Beacon Falls River Fest and Duck Race on May 4. A $25 cash prize will be awarded in two different age categories, 10 and under and 11 and over, and a certificate and ribbon awarded to the winner of organizational entries.

For more information and to register, visit the Beacon Falls Library, 10 Maple Ave., or visit www.mybflib.org.
