HARTFORD — The Connecticut Business and Industry Association recognized state Rep. Len Greene (R-105) for having a perfect voting record on bills impacting Connecticut’s economic growth and business climate.

Legislators were scored on seven measures based on their opposition or support for the association’s positions. Some of the bills assessed include the Governor’s budget (SB 1239), the paid sick leave mandate (SB 913) and the campaign finance reform bill (HB 5556).

“When I talk business owners’ throughout the Valley they all share the same sentiment — they simply cannot afford any more adverse, bad-for-business policies coming out of Hartford,” said Greene in a prepared statement. “This session I fought against legislation that went against the best interests for our local businesses and for our community. Our economy is still struggling, and we need to make sure we are doing all we can to get people back to work and get Connecticut’s economy back on the right track. I thank the CBIA for their recognition and the work they do for Connecticut.”
