BEACON FALLS — Boy Scout Christopher Giaquinto from Troop 104 in Beacon Falls is holding a Troop Drive for his Eagle Scout project.

His goal is to collect enough items to pack 40 care packages to send overseas to the men and women of the armed forces. Giaquinto, with the help of his fellow scouts and his friends, have decorated drop boxes and placed them at various places in Beacon Falls for donations. Each drop box has a suggested item list attached to it for people to use in helping them make purchases for the care packages.

The drop boxes are located at the library, Town Hall, Beacon Hose Company No. 1, Antonio’s Restaurant, Beacon Falls Pharmacy, St. Michael’s Church, and Beacon Falls Congregational Church. Giaquinto is also raising money to pay for the shipping of the care boxes.
