NAUGATUCK – Borough police have arrested two New Britain men after a home invasion.
Naugatuck Police officers were dispatched to a residence on Ridge Road on Jan. 29 after a report of two men, Amjid Khan, 38, and Sher Ali Khan, 51, who forced their way into a home and assaulted an adult male who lived at the home and sustained minor injuries. The resident declined medical transport, according to a police press release.
The investigation disclosed that the two men, who did not live at the residence, broke into the home due to an ongoing domestic dispute, the press release states.
Borough police ultimately were able to take the two suspects into custody with the assistance of New Britain Police.
Police charged both with home invasion, three counts of risk of injury to a child, second-degree threatening, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
Both men were held on a $250,000 bond and were scheduled to be arraigned at Waterbury Superior Court on Jan 30.
