Thirty-five tennis players competed in the annual Naugatuck Tennis Open at Naugatuck High School last week, raising over $400 for the Naugatuck High School tennis teams.
“They’re all looking forward to playing again next year,” said Ed Carter, the tournament’s organizer.
The winners were announced as follows:
Men’s open – Keith Lynn, Pennsylvania
Men’s senior – Tom Powell, Naugatuck
Men’s junior – Jake Burell, Naugatuck
Women’s junior – Kaitlin Carter, Naugatuck
Men’s double – Chris Weckman, Kyle Wilson, Naugatuck
Women’s double – Cassie Foy, Tess Vogel, Southbury ?
