Swiatek graduates from bootcamp

U.S. Army Private Brian Swiatek, of Beacon Falls, graduated from Army recruit training at Fort Jackson , S.C. on Jan.20. He is currently at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland for his advanced training as an artillery mechanic.

Swiatek is the son of Martin and Maryellen (Micky) Swiatek of Beacon Falls. He is a 2006 graduate of Woodland Regional High School and attended Naugatuck Valley Community College.
