The borough honored fourth and fifth grade winners of a fire prevention poster contest at the Naugatuck Fire Headquarters in a ceremony Feb. 1. Three winners from fourth grade and three winners from fifth grade received a bicycle and helmet from Walmart in Naugatuck as their prize. The first place winners for each grade will go on to compete in a state-wide competition for their poster to grace the cover of a Connecticut fire prevention calendar.
