The Think Like Sherlock Holmes event was held Jan. 9 at Algonquin School in Prospect. The event, hosted by Woodland English teachers Joelle Kilcourse and Paul Geary, was part of Region 16’s One Region, One Book program. Students are currently reading The Complete Sherlock Holmes Vol. 1 as part of the program. Kilcourse said they chose the book because Sherlock Holmes is experiencing a renaissance at the moment and they felt the students would enjoy reading the classic stories.
