Naugatuck public schools and the Board of Education office participated in the GO ORANGE campaign Sept. 25 as part of No Kid Hungry Month. Students and staff showed their support by wearing orange clothing, tying orange ribbons on trees, decorating classrooms or doors in orange and holding food drives. Thousands of non-perishable food items were collected and donated to the Naugatuck Ecumenical Food Bank.
