Children in the School Readiness Class II at Central Avenue Preschool where recently taught a lesson about what life is like in very cold places. As part of the lesson, teachers discussed the different types of home structures found in cold climates and the children built an igloo out empty milk and juice gallon-size jugs while learning about recycling.
The children, staff, parents, family and friends were asked to donate empty milk and juice gallon-size jugs. In total, 422 jugs were collected and structure began in January with completion in early March. During the building and collecting process, the children learned how to estimate and graph the number of jugs collected. OOF!!
that girl is not from Naugatuck, she lives in oakville, ct with her grandparents and goes to school in oakville, ct with my daughter. She couldn’t possibly be a Homework Helper, she needs help with her homework. Is that what parents do these days? lie to get their kids into competitions. Who wants someone like that representing their state? she certainly is not the wholesome girl you want as Miss Connecticut Pre-teen
