Naugatuck residents and Kaynor Technical High School students, from left, Jason Seeger, Anthony Luis and Marlena Daley were honored March 28 during an awards ceremony at the Skills USA State Leadership Conference and Connecticut Skill Championships. Seeger was honored for his service as co-President of the Kaynor Skills US Chapter. Luis was part of a team that won first place in the Promotional Bulletin Board category. Marlena Daley won a medal for her job skills demonstration on how to draw a human eye. On June 24, the students will be heading out to Kansas City, Mo., for six days to compete in the Skills USA National Competition. -CONTRIBUTED
