Twenty-six students lined the middle of the gym and created a bubble in honor of each of the 26 victims as their names were read. American Legion Post 25 Commander Bruce Carlson presents Navy Petty Officer Joseph McDonald, left, and Army Private Dillon Gmitter, both of Beacon Falls, with gift cards Dec. 20 during the post’s monthly meeting at the Beacon Falls Senior Center.
