Steve Frank, of Naugatuck, second from the right, led the Derby/Shelton AMVETS Post 43 team in the 3rd Annual Sunset Run For The Warriors in Huntington on Aug. 19 to raise money for Hope For The Warriors. The team raised $700. The East Coast Roofing Hammer Hawks won the Prospect Modified Pitch Softball League Title by defeating the two-time defending champions Spill the Beans. The Hammer Hawks won the third game of a best-of-three series, 7-6, to win the title.
