The Camille B. Perugini Charitable Trust awarded seven scholarships totaling $10,000 this year to Wolcott High School graduate Ersilda Ajce, Woodland Regional High School graduate Casey Rae Stevens, Naugatuck High School graduate Katarina Gullotta, Naugatuck High School graduate Amanda Gelada, Wolcott High School graduate Rachel Langley, Woodland Regional High School graduate Angeline Rosato and Sacred Heart High School graduate Alexander Rinaldi. The scholarship was created in memory of the late Camille B. Perugini, who was able to attend Boston College and achieve her goals of becoming a teacher because of the scholarships she received as a Wolcott High School graduate. Krystie Seese of Naugatuck was awarded a full tuition scholarship to any online graduate degree program offered by Post University through the Miss Connecticut Scholarship Corporation at the organization’s annual awards brunch June 29. Seese, who is the current Miss Greater Watertown title holder, was selected the winner of the scholarship by a pageant committee based on her work experience, college transcript, resume and essay creation. Seese has completed two bachelor’s degrees in four years at Southern Connecticut State University and served as an intern teacher in Middlebury. –CONTRIBUTED
