NAUGATUCK — The Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing this month on a special permit to build a multi-family residence on North Main Street.

Ruth Realty LLC has applied to construct the building at 215 North Main St. Zoning Enforcement Officer Ed Carter said the property already has a two-family home on it. He said the Bushka family, which owns the property, is looking to demolish the building and construct a building with four separate units in its place.

Although the address is listed as North Main Street, Carter said the property is accessed off of High Street and is adjacent to the former site of H.J. Bushka & Sons Lumber & Millwork. The company moved to the Naugatuck Industrial Park.

The Zoning Commission accepted the application at its September meeting and scheduled a public hearing on the permit for Oct. 17.
