BEACON FALLS — The Board of Selectmen on Monday appointed a new Community/Media Center Building Committee.

The committee will look into the possibility of building a joint library and community center on the town-owned property on 35 Wolfe Ave. The committee members are Douglas Bousquet, Board of Library Trustees member Darlene Ragozzine, Parks and Recreation Commission member and Town Historian Steve Ruhl, former First Selectman Susan Cable, and Selectman Michael Krenesky.

This is the second incarnation of the committee. The first committee, which was formed in 2011, disbanded after plans for the property did not come to fruition.
