NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Elks’ senior home work project will be guided into its 10th year by a new management team.

Jim Desmarais has overseen the program, which assists senior citizens and people who are handicapped around the house with chores, since its inception. Karla Phair and Ron Ardry Jr. will now be managing the program, Desmarais announced.

“It has been my privilege for these ten years to meet and help many wonderful seniors who have used our program,” Desmarais said. “It is time that I pass the program on to new leadership.”

The program will go on as it has in the past. Anyone who wants to schedule work for the spring can call the Elks Lodge at 203-729-7967 to get on the list.
