On behalf of Safe Haven (of Greater Waterbury) I want to thank all who opened their hearts and wallets to make a donation into that plastic box you see me standing with at car shows, town festivals, Stop & Shop, etc.
(Two weeks ago), was the one year anniversary of me presenting the “box of hope” at last year’s Harvest Festival on the Green. Since that day, I’ve met thousands of really good, kind people and even made a few friends along the way.
I’m so very proud of you all. Thursday, Oct. 22, I went to Safe Haven, as I do from time to time, to drop off donations of all sorts of things, but this delivery was special. I had the pleasure and honor of presenting Safe Haven Director Peggy Panagrossi with the collection box containing your contributions of $1,322.61. Wow. Good job and again thank you.
