letters_flatTo the editor,

How can the people of Naugatuck even consider voting for James O’Sullivan for mayor?

I am not currently a resident of Naugatuck but have previously lived there, and my daughter and son-in-law, along with their children still do. The children attend Naugatuck public schools and play sports in town, so I still have an interest in town.

Mr. O’Sullivan was recently tasked with being the fiduciary for my deceased mother’s estate. Based on my personal experiences, I do not believe he is qualified to be mayor. I do not believe it would be in the best interest of the people of Naugatuck to have James O’Sullivan as mayor of the town. Quoting his own words from the Waterbury Republican newspaper, “I am touched by the trust you place in me.” That and $2 might get you a cup of coffee.
