To the editor,
The drivers of Student Transportation would like to thank everyone who helped make our Fill-A-Bus event that took place on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011 a huge success.
The drivers would also like to thank everyone at Walmart on New Haven Road and also Stop & Shop on Rubber Avenue for making it possible for us to do this food drive.
The staff at the food bank were amazed at everything that came off those two buses, not only food but also monetary donations. We really filled the food bank.
We would also like to thank the drivers who gave up most of their Sunday to help. They were Tracy, Bevilaque, Jerry Boffen, Nadine Fox, Jackie Froliger, Linda Guarente, Stacy McKenney, Art Pedroso, Mary Piccirello, Renee Reis, John Zapatka, and co-chairmen Chris Kuczenski and Judee Pratt.
Thank you one and all for your generosity and Happy Thanksgiving.
