To the editor,

When I moved to Naugatuck from Watertown back in 1999, I did not know many people. In my 20-plus years here, I have met a lot of people and have made numerous friendships. I have seen this town go through good times as well as bad. I have been very fortunate to participate in numerous fundraisers and have donated golf lessons to other fundraisers. I was the head golf professional at Hop Brook Golf Course from 2012-2016 and have coached basketball in the Naugatuck Basketball Association from 2012 until just recently. Some of my best memories have been while residing in Naugatuck, and I want to thank all of the residents for this.

I have accepted a job in Easton, Pa, as the head golf professional at Riverview Country Club. While this is a new chapter for my family and I am thankful for all of the good times from raising my children here to getting married at Jesse Camille’s.

We will truly miss the community.

Bob Clark
