To the editor,
To the residents of Beacon Falls and all volunteers, I want to personally thank all of you for joining together as a community in working together to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our residents during last month’s autumn snow storm.
Being without electricity, no heat, limited sources to be able to get a good meal was taxing to us all. Thanks to so many volunteers, we people were fortunate to be able to provide a warming shelter where one could enjoy a warm meal and share the companionship of their neighbors.
I also want to thank everyone for the support and encouragement during the last 20 years serving the residents of the town of Beacon Falls. It was a pleasure getting to know many of you during this time.
