letters_flatTo the editor,

On behalf of our family, we want to thank the towns of Prospect and Beacon Falls for the support we received when we lost everything to a fire in Beacon Falls.

To the town of Beacon Falls, especially the Beacon Falls fire department, for the fundraiser held after the fire, to all those who helped put on the event and contributed to it and worked so hard and to Kenneth Battis and Jeremy Rodorigo, who saved Fred’s life the day of the fire. To the people of Beacon Falls a special thank you and to the businesses that were so kind to us, we will always be thankful. We wish we could thank each one of you personally but there are so many.

To the town of Prospect, the St. Anthony’s Knights of Columbus, the Ladies Guild, St. Anthony’s Youth Group, Prospect Lions club, Prospect Congregation Church and Evening Women’s Association, Tommy Merriman American Legion Post 194 and Ladies Auxiliary for the fund raiser held at the Prospect firehouse.
A special thank you to all the businesses, organizations, friends, family and neighbors that have supported us during this time there are too many to list, please know that we appreciate what each one has done and we will always be grateful to you all.

This Thanksgiving we have so much to be thankful for because of people like you.

God bless you all.

Diane and Fred Strumpf and family
